New Cathedral Cemetery maintains an extensive database of those interred at the cemetery. Our records date to 1871 when the cemetery opened. Genealogical research is very time consuming. The fee to research an individual or family is determined by how much information you request.

Free Records Search:

Premium Records Search:

We will search our database and review the original burial register to provide all information recorded at time of burial. In addition to the information found in the free records search, typically the burial register will include the following: date of birth, date of death, cause of death, last known address or place of death, and name of funeral home.

Photos Only

Photos are an excellent source of genealogical information. Many older monuments will list names of the deceased and their relation to others buried in the same family lot.

• Photographs are available with or without a records search

• Charge - $10.00 first photo, $7.50 for each additional photo of markers or monument in family plot
